Event will feature car, truck, and motorcycle judging with proceeds to benefit Relay for Life
Online PR News – 16-August-2012 – Salisbury, MD – Salisbury, MD--Sherwood of Salisbury is proud to be a presenting sponsor of the 1st Annual Show & Shine Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show, Yard Sale, and Swap Meet on September 1, 2012. In the event of rain, the show will be held on October 16. The event is co-sponsored by the Wheels that Heal Car Club and the Antique Automobile Club of America, with all proceeds to benefit the Relay of Life organization.
The show portion of the event will be open to all cars, trucks, and motorcycles with 26 trophies to be awarded. There is a registration fee of $10 per entry. The first 100 vehicles will get a free dash plaque. To register, call 410-548-4600. Swap meet and yard sale spaces will also be available for $10.
Rio the Hamster and the Michelin Man will be available for kid-friendly meet-and-greet opportunities during the event. Additional activities will include face painting, a prize wheel, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle.
All proceeds from the 1st Annual Show & Shine Show, Yard Sale, and Swap Meet will benefit the Relay for Life organization. This organization sponsors annual fundraising events for cancer research in nearly 5,000 communities within the United States, as well as additional events in 20 other countries.
