Online PR News – 24-September-2012 – West Palm Beach/FL – Richard Maroney & Pete Masitti have released a new stadium rock anthem, titled “Our House”, which made its first debut at Purdue’s Ross-Ade Stadium on September 15, 2012. Purdue is the first university to use the song since its release a few weeks ago.
Many universities don’t welcome new songs, and instead hold on to tradition. This may be argued as being honorable, but limits creativity and fan entertainment. Granted, professional teams love the classic anthems, like Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”, which certainly have their place. These classic anthems will forever remain staples at sports venues, but the sports fans still need variety to keep things interesting. Purdue clearly strives to keep the fans experience fresh by adding new tracks like “Our House” to the game’s playlist. The University of South Alabama also recognizes the importance of introducing new music to its sports fans, and will be debuting “Our House” at the next home game on September 29, 2012.
The song “Our House” truly defines the phrase “home field advantage”. This new track provides heavy guitars and thumping drums that build up momentum, then blast off to an undeniably memorable hook and blazing guitar solos – everything a sports rock anthem needs to really get the fans loud and fired-up at the games. The song was written to the get the blood pumping, adrenaline rushing and the stands shaking – and it delivers. “Our House” is a song that should be included in every sports fans music library.
“Our House”, written by Richard Maroney and Pete Masitti, was released on iTunes August 16, 2012.
