Kanchan Adhikari relished the bombil fry and the mandeli. Kishori Shahane was accompanied by her entire family which included hubby Deepak Balraj. The lavish spread at this ten day food festival offered a wide range of choices from the entire western coastal belt of India which included malwani to malabari to Goan and Manglorean delicacies. Mir Ranjan Negi arrived well in time complete with his traditional trademark headgear and accompanied by his wife Vinita.
Viveck Shettyy was in high spirits and burst into a song along with his friends Manmeet and Harmeet Gulzar. Umaesh Pherwani looked as fit as a fiddle with Pinkey Ahluwalia, the Belgian vice consul for company. Longines Fernandes was in his elements and was overheard talking about his participation in a mega event in Goa scheduled for the near future.
For those of you who are pure vegetarians you could choose from the cabbage poriyal to the beans foogath to the mushroom xacutito many more exotic vegetarian preparations. Sameer Mondal was all praise for Chef Naved and promised to return with his family. Ajoy Balkrishna, General Manager, The Grand Sarovar Premiere, was elegance personified as he attended to all the guests. And not to forget this coastal fine dining experience is simply incomplete without the Pazha Pradhaman (banana payasam).
