The American Payroll Association New Jersey Chapters Hosted 20th Annual Statewide Conference

Leading experts examined emerging HR, technology and legal trends affecting payroll industry

Online PR News – 30-October-2012 – Madison, NJ – The American Payroll Association New Jersey Chapters’ 20th Annual Conference, marked a huge milestone of the association’s achievements during the last 20 years. This premier event, provided progressive payroll education and networking opportunities for professionals in payroll, accounts payable, finance, HR, and benefits.

True to the conference theme, “Reaching New Heights with Payroll”, the agenda offered a full-day of payroll education covering legislative changes and the latest trends in payroll and technology changes. Representatives from the Social Security Administration, IRS and the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement addressed the latest regulatory and legislative updates for payroll tax compliance. In addition, speakers from NYU Langone Medical Center, Archer & Grenier, TALX, Silver Road Solutions and Wright Express shared their views and expertise in keynotes and seminars. Attendees were also able to earn six RCH credits.

The conference attracted almost 200 attendees and was supported by 20 exhibitors. Conference Chairperson and VP of Operations at Payroll Architechs, Colleen Flores, CPP said “Our goal was to provide a forum where attendees could connect and network with colleagues and stay current as the ever-changing legal and technical landscape that continues to affect the HR and Payroll process. The response we’ve received on the quality of the speakers, seminars and exhibitors was extremely positive.”
