Jewelry Designs From Recycled Bass and Guitar Strings Hopes To Get Noticed By Some Of Country's Biggest Stars.
Online PR News – 01-November-2012 – Dallas, Texas – Texas girl tries to bring a little ‘Texas Country’ to Country’s Finest Stars of Nashville when her jewelry designs are showcased at the official celebrity gift lounge in honor of The 46th Annual CMA Awards October 29 - November 1, 2012.
Abbie Chesney, sole proprietor and designer of eye on the sparrow designs in Dallas, TX, is gifting her Recycled Guitar String Earrings to country music's biggest names, in association with The Artisan Group, an exclusive organization of juried hand-crafters.
Each pair of earrings is made from strings donated by local musicians, including Zane Williams, a Texas Country artist out of McKinney, Texas. Williams, who did his own time in Nashville and came back to Texas, is a regular donator to eye on the sparrow designs.
eye on the sparrow designs has a mission to help musicians reach their dreams, which is why tagging a design with the artist who donated the strings is so important.
“There are a number of ways I am trying to help musicians with eye on the sparrow designs. If someone gets curious enough about a name on a tag to check that artist out, then that artist may get a new fan. If that person happens to be a big name Country star Zane Williams is going to get a pretty special fan,” Chesney says.
eye on the sparrow designs promotes helping musicians reach their dreams- one purchase at a time, one string at a time, one record at a time. Other ways eye on the sparrow designs helps musicians is by donating to kickstarter and pledgemusic campaigns, used by musicians to aid in recording costs.
In September, eye on the sparrow designs released it’s first compilation CD, compiled by Dallas producer Salim Nourallah as a gift back to those who purchase pieces of jewelry from eye on the sparrow. Every artist receiving a bag at the CMA Gift Lounge will also receive a free download for The Sparrow Project, CHANGE THE WORLD, Vol. 1.
As the company continues to grow Chesney would like to help artists raise money for their own charities, as she strongly believes the purpose of eye on the sparrow designs is to use music to give back, whether that be giving to an unheard of artist or allowing a well known artist to give back.
