Lonnie Jaycox is a performance oriented packaging engineer for HAZPlus® - the division of C.L. Smith Company that designs, manufactures, tests and certifies hazardous materials packaging in compliance with DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations. In addition, C.L. About Lonnie Jaycox - With formal education in engineering and philosophy, Lonnie started in the packaging business in 1991 designing and supplying packaging for automotive components. This required him to become proficient in a wide variety of packaging materials, filling materials and shipping environments. The adoption of HM-181 brought Lonnie in contact with the hazardous materials regulations, particularly the design and testing of performance oriented packaging under both domestic and international regulations. With that knowledge, Lonnie joined C L Smith more than ten years ago and was instrumental in developing HAZPlus®, the division that manufactures, designs and test hazardous materials packaging for their customers.
