Keepin' Weird Down by the Riverside an Austin Special

1st Art Exhibit of the Year and the featured artists are Aralyn Hughes, Hershall Spradley and Carmen Shanfield at the Old Bakery and Emporium Art Gallery which is across the street from the Capitol.

Online PR News – 08-January-2013 – Austin, Texas (January 06, 2013) – Featured artists are Weird Austin's beloved Aralyn Hughes presenting her acrylic and oil paintings, Hershall Spradley's photography of local river views, and Carmen Shamfield with her realistic watercolors.

The reception is Thursday evening, January 10th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the historic building that was once a bakery. The Art Gallery, with it's towering limestone walls on the top floor of the Old Bakery, overlooks the Capitol.

The exhibit run through February 6th. The Old Bakery and Emporium is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is at 1006 Congress Ave. It will be closed for Martin Luther King Day.
