myskillz, the football skills rating system for kids, has welcomed a new member of the team, working with South Ashford FC.

The club, which works with children ranging from U6 year groups to U18s, said that working with myskillz facilitated a development in the club that they had been working towards for some time, saying: “As a club we have always wanted to monitor our players’ development, so when we heard about myskillz it seemed to be exactly what we was looking for.”

Showing synchronicity with the myskillz ethos, they said that they were most looking forward to: “coaches being able to deliver simple drills and then having the ability to monitor their players development.”

The fact that children can track their own progress was also a vital factor in their decision to join myskillz, along with the overriding reinforcement that football is a game that has wide reaching appeal because is can be played by anyone at any time, and enjoyed in a variety of different ways – from solo training drills, to group games.

Gail Ganney, CEO of myskillz, said: “We are delighted to welcome South Ashford FC to the myskillz family. 2013 has already had a great start for us, and we are looking forward to spreading the word and developing the training system even further over the coming year to encourage more children to participate in the game. Whatever level they are at, with the myskillz ratings system, they will progress, and most importantly, they will have fun doing so.”
