Staged wedding and other activities set to wow the crowds at Discover Algeria’s NAC event

The National Algerian Centre is announcing its Discover Algeria event that’s taking place on the 6th of July 2013 in London, at the Albert*.

Online PR News – 03-July-2013 – London - UK – The rich and exciting program intends to both engage, and entertain the entire family with a focus on youngsters, in an effort to introduce the varied cultures of Algeria to the public.

“Culture is what makes us who we are, it is part of our identity, and gives us strength. Our wish is to invite people to unfold what Algeria is truly about via its enriched culture, and peoples. Our 6th of July event takes place a day after the celebration of Algeria’s independence that takes place on the 5th. One of our goal is also the promotion of Algeria and attract tourists among the Algerian diaspora itself, including non Algerians” Said Lynda Nebab, the NAC’s Director.

The National Algerian Centre has long advocated that culture is essential to social cohesion, because of the knowledge it provides for individuals, and communities.
“Cultural factors influence our lifestyle, and values to do with our day-to-day interactions. Our events are open to all, and enable people to learn about a culture they may be foreign to, or born into but totally clueless about. Discover Algeria is will be showcasing a staged Algerian wedding, a fashion show, a cultural exhibition, a sweet-decorating workshop, performances, a funfair, stalls, as well as free activities, and workshops. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste some of Algeria’s traditional food, and many more.” Added L. Nebab.

The event will bring together an extensive number of professionals from established companies, and other representatives in a wide range of sectors that will be featured at the Discover Algeria’s show. It is expected to welcome some 1500 visitors on the day.

“The goal is to bring people together, regardless of their background to harness the power of culture in celebrating a worldwide value we all share, which is our cultural bond.” NAC said.
