Raw Snacks is sponsoring the 25th Annual Celebrity Softball Classic. This much-loved event will feature many famous athletes and celebrities, and it will be held on July 18th, at the Florence Freedom Ballpark in Kentucky.

Online PR News – 16-July-2013 – Los Angeles, California – Raw Snacks is an emerging raw foods company based in Cincinnati that creates snack bars from raw ingredients such as nuts. These snack bars contain no sugar, no preservatives, and no fillers. The company recently signed up as a sponsor for the 25th Annual Celebrity Softball Classic, scheduled to be held on July 18th at the Florence Freedom Ballpark in Kentucky.

The Annual Celebrity Softball Classic was started in the year 1988 and it attracts a large number of people every year. Many charities and organizations have benefited from the event since its inception. A part of the proceeds from the ticket sales will go to Teen Response, Inc., an NGO which aims to build self-esteem and leadership skills in at-risk teens. The NGO's programs have benefited more than 500,000 teens living in Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area.

A Raw Snacks spokesperson was quoted saying, “We are happy and proud that we were able to sponsor this event. The event resonates with the Raw Snacks’ philosophy of healthy living and we will continue to associate with such brands in the future too.”

It is expected that the event will help Raw Snacks reach out to more people in Kentucky, one of the few markets where their nutritious snacks are currently available. Many local as well as nationally acclaimed athletes, including players from the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds will take part in the event. Also participating will be alumni athletes from the University of Kentucky, University of Cincinnati, and Xavier University. There will also be many local radio and television personalities. After the game, there will be an autograph session, a fireworks display, and the Annual Balloon Release.

A part of the proceeds from last year's event had gone to the Smith Family Foundation, which assists more than thirty charities in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area.

Raw Snacks has also sponsored other events in the past, such as Beat It 5K in Cincinnati, which raised money for breast and ovarian cancer-vaccine research. The company also sponsored Karsten Nielsen at the Bianchi Melfar 24 Hour Cycling Challenge in Denmark.

The company has launched four snacks in the US market and all of them are gluten-free and certified organic food. Raw foods are made from dehydrated food, which means the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes are preserved. They provide energy and unlike some other energy bars, these contain no artificial additives.

The company's products have been certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) and the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA). The snack bars that are currently available are Apricot Cinnamon, raw Cacao, Cranberry Cashew, Blueberry Vanilla, and Goji Cacao. These can be bought from selected organic food stores, fitness, and wellness centers in the states of Ohio, Indiana, Florida, and Kentucky.
