ShieldUI Adds Support for Polar Charts and Sparklines

Shield UI, a leading UI component vendor, announces the release of its latest chart series.

Online PR News – 08-October-2013 – Seattle, WA – ShieldUI, a European IT company, specializing in the development of reusable UI components for JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC and JAVA, has announced that it has expanded the features set for its main data visualization component – ShieldUI Chart.

The product enhancement adds a major set of charting series – step and polar subtypes series – which brings a total of eight new chart series to the users. The enhancement spans over multiple IDEs as well, offering the same functionality for pure JavaScript development, or ASP.NET, MVC and JAVA.

Our immediate development plans and targets set up a fast pace, which we intend to keep in the future. We are constantly working on adding new features to the existing charting products and the data visualization stack. At the same time, we are in the final development stages for a grid JavaScript component, scheduled for early December, which will follow our November product expansion, already in its final stages. So, stay tuned for new exciting releases and products.

In addition to this, the company has released extended control functionalities, which allow straightforward implementation of Sparklines - lightweight trend indicators.

ShieldUI has also announced its planned release of a barcode suite, which will include all major one-dimensional barcodes, such as UPCA, as well as a two-dimensional QR Code UI component, for early November 2013.

Dave Johnson, a Lead developer at ShieldUI said: “Our immediate development plans and targets set up a fast pace, which we intend to keep in the future. We are constantly working on adding new features to the existing charting products and the data visualization stack. At the same time, we are in the final development stages for a grid JavaScript component, scheduled for early December, which will follow our November product expansion, already in its final stages. So, stay tuned for new exciting releases and products.”

Each commercial product license is backed by a 24/7 support package, which is important for the successful delivery of any project. The high level of product maturity and the responsive support packages are what set aside the ShieldUI suite from many of its competitors on the market. The future development plans aim to establish the company as a preferred component vendor, when it comes to UI components, which are fast, sleek and easy to use.
