CTA@NYC helps facilitate the growth of Canadian tech startups in New York City. Demo Night is the opportunity for companies, in the CTA@NYC, to pitch their business ideas to potential investors.

Online PR News – 27-November-2013 – New York City – Founded in February 2012, the Canadian Technology Accelerator in New York City (CTA@NYC) is a groundbreaking program offered through the Consulate General of Canada which fast-tracks the growth of Canadian digital media start-ups by offering a “soft-landing” into NYC’s technology community. Each year, hundreds of companies submit applications for acceptance into CTA@NYC, which offers office space in New York for several months as well as targeted mentoring and networking opportunities with investors, business leaders, and other members of the tech ecosystem. Midway through the program, the CTA@NYC hosts Demo Night, which is an opportunity for each company to pitch business ideas to media, venture capitalists, and potential customers while building its network. With the Business Development Bank of Canada and the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater New York as sponsors, this year's Demo Night will took place at AppNexus, a digital advertising company, on the evening of October 17, 2013. The participating companies represent a broad spectrum of tech-based platforms:
