From Punk Rock Pioneer to Public Radio Host, 2014 Honoree to Be Feted For Contributions to the Arts, Cultural Preservation and Political Activism

Online PR News – 12-January-2014 – LOS ANGELES, CA – LOS ANGELES, CA – Punk rock icon, writer, radio host and political activist Henry Rollins will receive the prestigious Ray Bradbury Creativity Award from Woodbury University’s Friends of the Library on February 8 during events to be held at the university’s Fletcher Jones Foundation Auditorium.

Tickets: Admission is free and open to the public. Seating is limited.

This annual fundraiser benefits the Woodbury University Friends of the Library. For more than a decade, the Ray Bradbury Creativity Award has been presented to individuals whose contributions embody the creative spark and social conscience that characterized the late author’s work. Previous recipients include Kirk Douglas, Malcolm McDowell, Burt Reynolds, Jody Greenwald, Roy E. Disney, F. Murray Abraham and Bradbury, who was honored in 1994.
