Tracy Dyrone Jackson was born in South Carolina. He is the son of Lovers Rock Reggea artist Dyrone Charles and Gospel Singer Joana Jackson. He was born to be on stage.
Dyrone performed on TV shows such as What's Up Carolina, Street Styles, Struggle Street and BET's Uncut and has done live shows for the Independent Music Awards and Southern Reggae Awards.
Dyrone has been competing for over ten years and has won various titles such as Reggae King of North and South Carolina. Dyrone was signed to Arista records through a group called Mad Ruckus.
Dyrone has since signed a marketing deal with Optimus Entertainment Group to market his new single “Dirty South Controversy” which was released on Friday January 10, 2014.
