CES Innovation Award and Retail Distribution Deals for Solar Start-Up
Online PR News – 22-January-2014 – LAFAYETTE, Colorado – Solar innovator AspectSolar turned heads at this year’s International CES. Their booth drew large crowds, despite being surrounded by other new technology companies. Industry leaders and show attendees came to see the strides in portable power that AspectSolar is making; strides that were award-winning. AspectSolar’s SunSocket Solar Generator was honored with a CES Innovation Award for portable power. The annual show gave this tech start-up more than that to brag about, though. Numerous retailers, distributors, and other potential partners stopped by to learn more about their product line – including U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Penny Pritzker.
In recognition of the one-of-a-kind, industry-leading innovation that the SunSocket Solar Generator represents, the CES Innovation Awards committee honored AspectSolar at both their January show and the CES Unveiled event last November. It is the only portable solar generator in the world to track the Sun across the sky. This results in the maximum power output all day long from a system that doesn’t need to be moved periodically. In conjunction with its advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and a high-efficiency Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, this is the most advanced portable solar generator available on the market.
Secretary Pritzker visited International CES with a mission: support U.S.-based companies that assemble products in the U.S. and exported internationally. AspectSolar was one of a small handful of companies specifically picked out by CEA and the Secretary for her visit.
"Secretary Pritzker was happy to see a small American company exporting technology that’s changing the industry," said CEO Esmond Goei. "And we were pleased to have her stop by. That was a validating moment in our journey and signifies a bright outlook for the future of AspectSolar."
AspectSolar considers the show a huge success that opened up several opportunities with a large number of potential new business partners. Currently, U.S. domestic orders are available at aspectsolar.com and international shipping available through their partner, Aircraft Spruce. With the growing interest in the AspectSolar brand, Mr. Goei and his staff look forward to what they can bring to International CES 2015.
