In celebration of these double awards; Masterchef Lap Fai has created a new indulgent rice dumpling, available exclusively from 2 May to 2 June 2014!

This year’s new creation Rice Dumpling with Stewed Pig Trotter and Preserved “Mui Choy” 石澳梅菜猪手粽 ($12.80) made up of delicious, tender, meaty pig trotters and preserved vegetables all the way from Hong Kong’s Rocky Bay ‘Shek O Village’, mixed with sticky glutinous rice, is the best way to enjoy the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival! The savoury but not overly salty delight hits the perfect notes – simple yet satisfying.

For the more health-conscious, our well-received Five Grains Dumpling with Wild Mushrooms野菌五谷粽 ($8.80) will be returning this year! Outstandingly put together with white glutinous rice, black glutinous rice, wild rice, sweet corn and wheat alongside wild mushrooms, this wholesome morsel is gluten-free, fiber-rich and low fat – need we say more?

Not forgetting the all-time favourite signature Rice Dumpling with Roasted Meat in Hong Kong style 香港裹蒸粽 ($17.80) which our regulars come back every year for. This rectangular pillow shaped dumpling is packed with freshly roasted duck and meat, scallops, mushrooms, salted egg yolk, fragrant chestnuts and dried lotus seeds.
