Online PR News – 09-May-2014 – Goettingen / Germany – Sycor today announced it will be demonstrating a fully integrated scenario for hybris' omni-channel commerce platform with a solution from SAP running on the backend at SAPPHIRE® NOW and the ASUG Annual Conference. Sycor will exhibit in booth 677A during the events, which will be held June 3-5 in Orlando, Fl.
"Our scenario maps the entire process starting with the catalog processes, especially master data maintenance for the items in the SAP solution running on the backend, real-time availability checks for the items, and ordering via the online store," said Patrick Hey, a member of the Executive Board at SYCOR GmbH in charge of the global e-business activities of the Sycor Group. "We have also created an accompanying document flow display based on historical order and invoice data in the hybris omni-channel commerce platform."
After master data management based on standard processes in the SAP® solution has been completed for the items in the backend, they are transferred to the online store where the catalog is assembled with images and further information. Following publication, purchase orders can then be created which are sent directly to the backend.
