It is well-known that stress is a key factor in weight gain. But could Yoga Retreats be the little known solution that women have been searching for?
Online PR News – 26-June-2014 – London, UK – Today, the modern woman is being pushed harder than ever before. Demanding careers, family responsibilities and increasing pressure to adapt to an ever changing world are all common causes of stress, weight gain and other health challenges.
But are Yoga Retreats the secret solution that women have been searching for?
Katrina says, “Yoga retreats are a great place for women to let go of unwanted stress and relax away from the demands of everyday life. Traditionally women have carried out the care-giver role in society and as a result their own needs often get sidelined. Yoga Retreats provide a wonderful opportunity for women to put their own needs first and allow themselves to be nurtured."
She adds "Yoga retreats offer a chance for women to create space away from their busy lives to contemplate important life concerns, such as weight and health challenges, career moves, relationship or family worries as well as other life transitions."
Katrina herself is no stranger to the importance of paying attention to the body's inbuilt warning signs.
Just days before her 20th birthday, Katrina had a complete body breakdown after years of over-riding her body. At the time she was 60 pounds overweight and struggling with a host of chronic ailments including asthma, eczema and adrenal exhaustion.
After being bed-ridden for weeks, yoga played a key role in helping her to re-balance her body naturally and regain her health. She healed these ailments and also lost her excess weight for good.
Today Katrina Love Senn spends her time inspiring women all around the world to listen to their bodies and create a life that they love.
Katrina's Yoga and Healing Retreats are holistically focused upon helping women to reconnect back to their bodies through gentle movement and breathing techniques. Over the week, participants will be encouraged to calm their minds, listen to their bodies and activate their natural self-healing abilities.
By re-prioritising their own health and wellness, women are better able to cope with life, release stress and reconnect back to what's truly important to them.
