German Startup Alugha Debuts in USA

Smashing success and high interest at CES 2015 – alugha´s multilingual video solution is the future technology for various platforms

Online PR News – 12-February-2015 – MannheimGermany – The US-market entrance of alugha, provider of an online-solution for publishing multilingual videos, was convincing and over exceeded all expectations. The young German start-up company could present their unique technology to an interested professional audience as well as decision makers at the The Next Web USA in New York in December 2014. The Next Web USA is one of the most important platforms to gain the recognition of journalists and investors in the USA. For Bernd Korz, Founder & CEO of alugha, the US American market is the most important market besides the German one for his young company. "We were delighted to be one of just 30 start-up companies who were chosen to demonstrate their technology on their own booth to an interested audience."

alugha’s technology simply means that one video can be improved with different audio tracks and has to be uploaded only once. This makes the internet faster and greener, offers enormous savings potential for all kinds of resources and finally gives producers the possibility to easily operate on a global scale.

The next step, to inspire the USA about alugha, was the International CES 2015, Las Vegas. The International CES 2015 is the world´s exclusive gathering place for Consumer Electronics. As exhibitor in the German pavilion, alugha could count more than 100 interested visitors. They ranged from Streaming-content-providers and globally operating enterprises to educational institutions, Governmental representatives and charity organizations. Even private blogger and YouTube celebrities were extremely interested - so anyone who cannot do without videos in their professional environment. "The participation in the CES wasn’t a question at any time. The CES opened the way for numerous co-operations with different platforms and companies", said Bernd Korz.

The success and the great excitement in the USA confirmed to alugha, that the step into the American market was the right one. The first talks with potential investors are expected with great excitement.

The development of version 1.0 is running at full speed since April 2014 and will be launched shortly in the first quarter 2015
