Cinnamon Air’s luxurious Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian aircraft, will be operating daily scheduled flights between Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), the Colombo city water-aerodrome at Waters Edge, Kotte and Nuwara Eliya’s Lake Gregory water-aerodrome from 10th – 20th April. Passengers will enjoy comfort and luxury on-board, while being treated to a remarkably stunning, bird’s eye view of the hill country. The amphibian aircraft take-offs and landings on water, coupled with an engaging and interesting crew will certainly surpass any previous travel experience between Colombo and Nuwara Eliya.

The daily scheduled flight departs from BIA at 08.05am and from Waters Edge water-aerodrome at 08.40am, with the return flight from Nuwara Eliya departing at 09.20am to Waters Edge and then on to BIA. The one way fare from BIA or Waters Edge to Nuwara Eliya or vice versa is US$ 153 + taxes. Tickets are available for purchase through all Travel Agents, SriLankan Airlines ticket offices and via the Airline’s website, www.cinnamonair.com. Special rates are available to all Sri Lankan nationals and residents.

All Cinnamon Air scheduled flights operate in code share with SriLankan Airlines, consequent to which they are also be available for sale throughout the SriLankan Airlines network and all Travel Agents around the world via Global Distribution Systems, under a “UL” designated flight number. The introduction of this flight would provide all SriLankan Airlines passengers with the option of a useful and important extension of travel options within Sri Lanka during the popular Nuwara Eliya Season, at the time of purchasing their international travel.
