Taking place in the Akoya Amphitheater on the Great Lawn at Boca West, the event has been organized by the Boca West Foundation and will benefit 19 area children’s charities. Tickets are $150 a piece, and organizers hope to raise $1.2 million at the event, with all profits going to the charities. Doors will open at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, followed by a performance by the Atlantic City Boys, a quartet of talented singers performing classic hits, at 8 p.m. Then, the acclaimed late-night talk show host will take to the stage at 9 p.m. in the Akoya Amphitheater, constructed just for the event.

The charities benefiting from Concert for the Children, which is a part of Boca West Foundation Week along with the $100,000 Charity Golf Challenge, include: Wayne Barton Learning Center, Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, The Gift of Life, Caridad Center, Boca Helping Hands, Boca Raton Police Athletic League, Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options, Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County Children's Services, The Giving Tree, SCOPE, Boys and Girls Club of Boca Raton, SOS Children’s Village – Florida, Youth Activity Center and Unicorn Children's Foundation, FAU’s TOPS Band Camp, Nat King Cole Generation of Hope, Place of Hope, KidsSafe and the American Association of Caregiving Youth.
