Goodkin Consulting Announces Contract for Four Research Studies

Goodkin Consulting received four major real estate consulting contracts and will now perform a real estate analysis on the commercial and residential properties.

Online PR News – 19-November-2010 – – MIAMI, FL – Goodkin Consulting today announced it has been awarded four major contracts for market research studies in central and south Florida. “These projects span a broad range of commercial, residential and mixed-use properties,” said Lewis M. Goodkin, CRE, FRICS, MIRM, president of the Miami-based firm, which worked with public- and private-sector clients since the 1970s.

For the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA), the real estate consultants will examine sales trends in the residential market. The goal of the study is to analyze the strength and nature of demand for condominiums in the downtown Miami market.

A second study for the City of Daytona Beach Shores will review market demand for a proposed village center on S.R. A1A in this oceanfront central Florida city. The research will focus on identifying specific uses for the town center that would appeal to the region’s residents.

Goodkin Consulting was also retained by the Village of Royal Palm Beach to conduct a market study on possible uses for a 160-acre city-owned parcel. The city has been considering creating a bio-tech research center that might have a linkage with Scripps Florida and Max Planck Florida Institute in northern Palm Beach County.

A fourth project is underway for the University of Miami, which is considering various development scenarios for its land holdings south of its main campus in Coral Gables. In addition to a market study, the firm will perform real estate analysis on the potential commercial, residential or educational uses for those sites.
